Review: Too Cool For School Milk Tint

Hi Hi Guys!

Today I'm going to be reviewing the Too Cool for School (man, such a long brand name!) Milk tint :)
If you remember a LONGGGG while back I did a Korean Cosmetic Haul and I purchased this Milk tint. If I remember clearly from reading that post I purchased it because the packaging was super cute! and I don't own any milky tints, only the liquid like ones (which personally comparing to the liquid ones the milk ones are way more hydrating and doesn't accentuate the flakiness of your lips).

We gonna jump jump jump right into the review! :P

Oh for those that wanted to know where I bought this. I didn't buy this online... I'm not sure why, knowing it is cheaper but maybe I wasn't bothered to wait for the shipping. But then again this was a spontaneous purchase. SO ANYWAYS! I bought this from Blush Cosmetics which might I tell you sometimes sells ridiculously overpriced goods. Although, this lip tint was $14.95, but I actually got it for "free". Since it was buy one get one free!

OMG and look at the box it came in! It looked like a milk carton... get it?! milk tint...milk carton?! LOL so cute.

Verdict
Pros:

  • Moisturising and hydrating. The "milk" formula really makes your lips soft as if you put on lip balm
  • Cute packaging
  • Great finish
  • Lovely scent! The pink one has a strawberry milk scent, while the orange one... i can't even describe the scent. It's like milk? but not LOL

Cons:

  • The colours for me felt quite similar after putting it on my lips
  • After a couple of hours (3-4 hours?) it starts to accentuate the cracks on your lips. But! If you put on lip balm on top, it doesn't seem to smudge or remove the existing lip tint... so that's a plus ish?!
  • May be a little difficult to purchase in Australia

Conclusion:
Overall, I really enjoy this lip tint! I love to use this on days to uni as it is easy to apply and it gives a nice pop of colour on your lips especially if your super lazy to put on anything. Totally recommend this tint to anyone, but for the price I feel like you could get something equally as good such as lip tints from Etude House (THEY ARE TO DIE FOR OMFG!)

Do you guys use lip tints? If so tell me what your favourite lip tints are!
Anyways until next time,

  1. Wow, these look really pretty! Whenever I see Jenn (clothesencounters) talks about the Etude House lip tints I want to buy them, but I don't think they have them where I live :(

  2. I've never heard of a milk tint-but I love the packaging on these! Plus it'd be nice to find a moisturizing tint, considering lip stains are pretty much my go-to!

    1. A milk tint is basically a "milky" coloured tint? It is similar to a gel but a bit lighter so "milky"... Lip stains are great! I love all the colour ranges they have. thanks for stopping by! ^_^

  3. HOW TO WASH OFF DEARY !! hihi I realised that these are harder to remove than norm lipsticks, so may I ask you how to remove these lip tints, sorry if its a dumb question

    1. It's actually not that hard, and definitely not a dumb question! I like to use either a cleansing oil and they just magically come off! I recommend massaging your lips with a cleansing oil, you can also use extra virgin olive oil too! Natural remedy and cheap! OFC, if you don't have a cleansing oil, I like to use an oil based make up remover as an example the Garnier 2 in 1 Clean sensitive make up remover! works like a dream and definitely my hg product! I hope I answered your question and thanks for dropping by! <3 ^_^
